The project is part of the public space revitalization strategy of the municipality seeking to return unnecessary vehicular space to the pedestrian realm..

Located at the intersection of two main avenues and at the beginning of the Clouthier Park, the project aims to balance the use of public space optimizing vehicular circulation geometry and resulting in additional new sidewalk space, directly adjacent to the park, improving its accessibility.

Along with the road redesign, the project specifies the trees, vegetation and finishes in line with those of the recently completed park promoting the integration of both spaces.
